Liberal Endangerment of America

Current circumstances give new reasons to be concerned about America’s future. Numerous studies have documented the illiteracy of today’s youth. Knowledge of American history and the role of government are subjects no longer the centerpieces in public education. Due to the lack of knowledge in these subjects today’s youth are less likely to stay informed about politics and current events. Immigrants and their children know how their lives have improved by coming to America. Yet children of native born Americans take for granted the privileges of American citizenship. Liberals have infiltrated our schools and government. They have distorted history and want to be regarded as citizens of the world.

The American Republic was founded and was the first nation to define itself in terms of ideas. These ideas may be thought of as the American creed, the equal rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; freedom of religion, majority rule; minority rights; and the rule of law. Anyone who embraces these ideas can in spirit become an American.

The state exists to protect the rights of the individual. Our rights encourage our pursuit of happiness and prosperity set within the limits of the law. Today’s Americans know very little about their rights provided to them through The United States Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and The Bill of Rights due to the disintegration of our schools by the liberals. An accurate knowledge of our history and the documents that made this country great are no longer taught and if they are taught to some degree, they are so distorted with falsehoods that they are unrecognizable to the historians of America.

American innovative successes and technology advances were great and many. Liberal policies and agenda have not only caused the self-destruction of America by the dumbing down in our educational institutions and chasing most technology employers overseas with the rising taxes. Liberals and their counterpart the communist party are the ones whose policies caused the housing market collapse. A quick study will show that the housing collapse was planned out over the course of years. If we examine Acorn and their associations it will lead to both liberal and communist organizations!

If we are to put a stop to the liberal and communist agenda we need to decide which side of the fence are we on. Are we patriotic Americans with a love for America and all of its founding principles and documents or are we a part of the problem and seek the destruction of America with liberal and communist policies. The decisions we make today not only will look out for the future of our children and our grandchildren, but will honor all of our service men and women who have fought and died for the sake of freedom. The Founding Fathers had that choice to make and that is why for over 200 years we enjoyed freedom in America. Now we need to make that same decision that our Founding Fathers had made. Will we be patriotic to our Country and fight for our freedom or will we be meek little lambs and give up our freedom to the elitists that run our government now. President Reagan said it best;

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Who Are We

How do we identify the American identity, the American character, and the American citizenship. How do we address hearts and minds to make Americans more aware of whom they are as citizens of the United States? How do we produce better patriots and better citizens both men and women  who knowingly and thoughtfully are attached to our country, devoted to its ideals, and eagerly live an active civic life. The patriotism we seek is deep. This addresses liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans and independents, employers and employees, rich and poor, young and old, and Americans of every race, religion, and ethnicity, for all Americans have a stake in the well-being of our nation.

How do we identify ourselves, as individuals and as a people? Who or what do we look up to and revere? To what larger community and or ideals are we attached and devoted? For what are we willing to fight and or sacrifice? How can America produce citizens who are knowledgeably attached to their country and their communities, and who possess the character, the attitudes, sensibilities, and virtues, necessary for civic engagement? How do we as parents, teachers, and community leaders form good citizens?

How we can identify ourselves starts with educating ourselves and our young on America’s exceptionalism. We need to learn about the founders and the founding documents that made America great. How can we identify with America and its founding principles if we have no knowledge of our rights and freedoms supplied to us through our United States Constitution, our Declaration of Independence, and The Bill of Rights! How do we defend ourselves from the power hungry elitists that run our government if we have no knowledge of the freedoms supplied to us are? What we all need to do is examine ourselves and decide who we are and where we want to be. Will we surrender to the tyranny of our present administration  or will we fight for our freedoms as our founding fathers had done!
